I live in Pinon Trails and have no problem with the somewhat higher density. I live in a duplex (semi-detached), 1100 sq. Ft. My previous house was a patio house (zero lot line). My income is less than half the median income for White Rock. I bought this house out of foreclosure 9 years ago, and the value according to Zillow has at least doubled in those 9 years. I bought the patio home in 1987 for $106,000, and it took 25 years for the cost to double. Let's talk sometime about more White Rock opportunities?

Let's do! It's where I grew up. (You won't remember this, but my brother used to work for you.) I feel like I get White Rock, which means I get that people are torn between liking the sleepy little vibe and feeling the place is neglected/ignored by the powers that be. I think everyone is very sick of the WRTC blight! White Rock is losing population, which is not a good sign. No population center should want to lose population.

I remember your family (and I knew quite a few of your friends too- including some who were in the accident.) I like your thinking and I enjoy your writing. I'd like to take a walk with you in White Rock- and we can talk about another component of the housing crisis, which you touched upon when you mentioned mortgages in your article, and that is the financial institution part of it.
